Movie Nights: Week in review 11.18-11.24

The week of 8.18-8.24

This week our movie nights were as follows!

Weekly Favorite:

Aletha & Marissa

Predator: Classic Cheesy 80’s Action in all its glory! So much gunfire throughout I almost went deaf but it was worth it. This classic is definitely worth watching if you’re looking for tons of explosions, cheesy writing and some good human hunting fun.

Predator 2: Suuuupppppperrrr boring. Gave this one a rewatch for costume research (Halloween) I mean who wants to see Predator in the city anyway right? Apparently not the writers because you don’t get any action for like 45 minutes in, this movie feels more like a boring businessman movie than a predator movie.

Oldboy (2013): (Remake of the 2003) We really like this remake, it is not as good as the original but I mean that is so rare. This one is definitely a little odd and creepy to say the least but an interesting revenge story. Definitely worth a watch.

Bodies Bodies Bodies: This one is SO MUCH FUN, well written, original characters some LGBTQ representations , well acted and a plot with twists that keep it interesting. Pete Davidson being a rich kid douchbag was pretty hilarious to watch.

Jeepers Creepers: A young Justin Long kills it in this modern day horror classic. Jeepers Creepers has an eerie fall vibe with a relatable and well acted cast. Very 2000s vibe makes for a fun time and the creature is beautifully terrifying.

Scream 3: Of course any scream movie is worth watching
